reduce motorcycle insurance?

would it be feasable to buy a moped (100ccish) & insure it for a couple of years just to get some no claim bonus!! then in a year or 2 buy a proper bike ( 650ccish) & hopefully the insurance will be cheaper. i used to have bike in my youth when i passed my test but as i havent ridden 1 for a while its difficult to get insurance ( reasonable cost any way )
thanks

try ebike search it on line i found them very cheap for my bikes.

i would go for the 650 right away, ok you may get a couple a years no claims but then when you get the 650 it will rocket the price of insurance up any way

regards x kitti x

cheapest motorcycle insurance florida

October 30th, 2006 by The Rider

Need cheap no-name insurance companies for motorcycle insurance?

Well, i live in Florida where motorcycle insurance is not required at all. But I need comprehensive insurance at least (and maybe liability too) so that I wont have to cry over a stolen bike after a week of purchase. I’m buying this bike in cash (2008 ninja 250R) and still big insurance companies like progressive and geico will charge me a thousand bucks a year for liability and comprehensive coverages alone. So, I need to know the names of some small insurance companies who wont use their big and flashy names to jack up their prices. please help. I dont wanna pay 1000 bucks a year for a 3500 dollar bike. Thanks.

think you have your wires crossed……you have to have liability, in case you hit somebody…………and that dont cover your repairs, or replacement if it gets stolen…….
just who you hit, and maybe a ride in the meat wagon……………..
