insurance motorcycle auctions auctions
Where do insurance companies sell totaled motorcycles?

Do these companies sell these vehicles at auction? Sealed bids? Where can I get information on how to purchased totaled bikes?
For an answer to be valid, I need the name of a company, contact information, not just they sell them or they smash them… looking for a place to buy them.

I think they get smashed into little cubes and shipped off to China…

scooter insurance for texas

March 26th, 2007 by The Rider

What do i need to do or know before I get a moped/scooter?

I found a new 50cc scooter/moped for around 350$ that a friend is willing to sell me. I need one so I can commute around, since my college town doesnt have a mass transit system.

I live in texas and i have checked the dps site but its somewhat vague on certain points.

is anyone willing to give a step by step procedure or instructions on how to prepare for a moped? any
information would be helpful.
like what type of insurance? license? registration? where to park? do i need to take a test if my engine is 50cc? where can i go if the max speed is 35mph?
lol in response michelle, walking and biking in texas weather is no picnic, especially if its 4 miles back from walmart with 2 bags, ive tried.
if it helps i walk plenty around campus while rushing to my classes. ;)

its kinda sad that we are giving up the ability to walk are ancestors walked everywhere since they didnt have cars back than……. ( try walking instead much healthier for you )

motor scooter insurance australia

March 26th, 2007 by The Rider

How much a motor scooter cost in Australia?

How much a motor scooter for a girl (going to c cost in Australia?
How much it cost for registration and insurance?
What are other costs incured ?

You can get them brand new from $A1000. BUT-heaps of people get them, then realise they don’t have the nerves to ride them in the traffic. You can pick them up second hand, sometimes with no more than a couple of hundred kilometers on them, for half that price. The lady who lives next door to my Mum got a second hand one, eight months old, 120km on the clock, still under warranty for $500! Sorry, I have no idea how much the rego and insurance on one would be, but it would be easy for you find out by visiting the Government web site for the state you’re going to stay in.
