When it comes to bike insurance, how does it all work?
do you have to buy insurance for a whole year, or you can do it monthly just like with cars…

That will probably depend on the company you choose.
I use Allstate for my motorcycle. I get a 6 month policy with 3 different possible payment methods.
in indiana how much (average) would motorcycle insurance be for a bike 1990 and older?
i am 15 so i cant get a quote. im pretty sure that with a permit it has to be insured with my dad, so i dont think my age matters, because you dont need proof of insurance to get a permit.
as i already stated, i cant check myself because im a minor and insurance companies wont tell me without a parent present. its illegal apparently. so thats why i was asking for a general estimate.

Where is a good place to have motorcycle insurance through. My husband is looking into buying a Suzuki gsxr and we are trying to find something cheap or reasonable.
I personally got a a really good quote from progressive insurance. It was $20 cheaper than any other Insurance company I received a quote from. I heard good things from them from a few friends who had them and were in a few accidents. Currently pay $52 and I’m a fairly new rider.
