texas moped insurance laws

Question about mopeds in FL and TX. Plus tickets. HELP I’m so confused.?

I have a FL drivers licence. I bought a Moped in TX and received a ticket for driving without registration, no class M inducement on license and no insurance on vehicle.

Texas State law requires this but does FL require these? If not, can I fight the ticket if I get it registered in FL?
I do live in Texas but the state does not know that, I have an address in FL on my license. If you need more information please let me know.

I also need good links to the answers if that’s where you got them, would love to see them for myself.

PS: can they give me a ticket which is 2 dollars less than the price of my bike and helmet? they are FORCING me to sell my bike.

You’ve pretty much done everything wrong. In addition to the site that UCANTCME put, see the sites below. Let’s pretend that you were actually driving in Florida (where you’re pretending you live), you still didn’t have a motorcycle endorsement (hence no license), you’re bike isn’t registered, and you have no insurance (which is required by state law). My boyfriend is a cop (both of us in Texas) and gives out exactly these types of combined tickets every day. I would take your punishment and feel lucky that they didn’t get you for not transferring your address withing 30 days of moving to the state.
